Extremely Sharp Cutter, On The Bigger Side
After receiving these cutters, I was extremely skeptical about their effectiveness at first because of the large and cumbersome frame. However, I am glad to say that I was wrong and these are my new go-to cutters while I’m at home. Normally, the largest weakness with this style of cutter (or any straight cut) is how sharp the blades are and how well-aligned the sharp edges are. In this case, it succeeds in both and makes for an accurate cut that doesn’t crush your cap every single time.The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is the size and weight. As I said before, it is a bit cumbersome in your hand just because it is on the larger side when it’s folded out. This makes it extremely durable, which is good so it doesn’t get misaligned, however comes at the cost of being slightly less pocketable.Overall it is a great cutter and definitely a good one to keep in your garage or with your humidor.

My new favorite cigar scissors
I have many cigar accessories. Collecting accessories is a fun park of the hobby to me. I have a number of items from Xifei and while it’s a newer name (at least to me) in the cigar space it’s one that is earning a positive reputation to me. These scissors are another great product from them.Scissor type cigar cutters are underrepresented in my collection. I do have several pairs but I’ve never loved using any of them. I have one that folds up small but the finger rings are too small. I have one that isn’t sharp enough. And I have others that are just ok. These cigar scissors from Xifei are great though. They come in a nice box, suitable for gifting. I like the modern, industrial, look. The finger rings are generously sized. They are also the same on both sides so using them lefty or righty isn’t an issue. I like the size of these, but I’d consider these a table top cutter. They are a bit big to carry around in your pocket. Choose a punch or smaller double guillotine if that is important to you. These scissors have a bit of heft to them (another reason I’d suggest these as a table top cutter) and feel solid/well built. The opening and closing action is easy and smooth. Finally, and most importantly, they are super sharp. The cut is clean and easy. I haven’t had them long enough to tell you how well they will hold the edge but based on other products from them I don’t expect them to dull overly fast. Overall, these are now easily the best cigar scissors in my collection. They are another great product from Xifei.

Nice heavy gold cigar cutter
This is an oversized luxury rigar cutter. It is an all metal heavy sturdy thick cutters with a nice edge that cuts well on a cigar without crushing or leaving a chip tear on the wrapper. It doesn’t have elegant scrolling but does have what i call tactical vent holes cut through and along the handle for design flare. All in all its does well for a cugar cutter and a nice heavy showpiece when used and for the price is can’t complain. It serves its job well and looks good doing it.

It comes in a very nice box that would make it a perfect gift for any cigar smoker. Opening the box, I just kind of said, “Wow.” This thing is cool. It’s not as big as it looks in the ad photos, but that’s a good thing. It’s the perfect size, at just a bit over 5 inches long and just over two inches wide at the handles. The appearance is stunning. There is an engraved look at the top of the handles, and the overall shapes give it an almost medieval appearance. The handles fit perfectly in the hand, and the size and weight are just right. It has the feel of quality. It’s made of stainless steel, and the cutting edges are sharp. As soon as I opened it, I grabbed a nice hand-rolled out of the humidor and clipped it. The cutter made a nice, even cut with no crushing of the cigar.I can’t wait to show this to my cigar-smoking buddies. I won’t say a thing. I’ll just take it out, clip the cigar, and wait for the comments. There are a lot of different cigar cutters out there. Many of them are designed to just be functional.
