    Great for cigars

    I’ve been using boveda packs for a while now, and they’ve been one of the easiest ways to keep my cigars humidity accurate. The packs are completely hassle-free just place a few in your container and it starts regulating humidity without any setup or maintenance.What I really like is the two-way humidity control. Unlike traditional humidifiers that only add moisture, these packs automatically release or absorb moisture to maintain a consistent humidity level, which helps prevent things from drying out or getting overly damp.After they have been in there a while, they dry out. I revitalize my packs with distilled water in the original packaging. Just throw in a few tablespoons of water and let the packs absorb them. I use a hydrometer and they still maintain about 70% humidity, which is right where I want them.

    They seem to work well.

    I bought these for some humidors. A travel size one and a larger one that just needed a boost. They seem to work well so far. I’ve only used a couple, but it’s got the humidity up close to the listed value. There are always variables to take into consideration like how well the humidor is seasoned, how sealed it is when closed, the surrounding humidity in the room, the number of cigars, etc., but I’m satisifed.

    It doesn’t get much easier to care for your cigars

    If I was a marijuana user, I’d use these for that. As such, I use them in a small humidor for my cigars. It’s not a cheaply made humidor, but it’s not a high end unit either. It’s solid wood and does have some leaky spots around the enclosure. It usually has between 8-10 cigars in it.It has a typical felt sponge humidifier that can’t keep up when it’s loaded. I keep a digital humidity meter inside. With 3-4 boveda packs inside, it holds the humidity at exactly what they’re rated for.I switch them out every 4-6 weeks when they start to stiffen up. And it’s that easy.I may start keeping the humidor in my safe, which has an electronic rod for keeping the humidity to a reasonable level. I think they’ll last a couple months with no air movement entering the humidor.

    Wasted money

    Bought a few from the cigar shop they worked fine as intended .. not so much from here, no humidity control at all , packs turn hard in a few days .. Edited 5/22/26..changing one star to five reviews..After posting the original review about the Boveda packets not working as expected the company reached out and funded my money with apologiesI wasn’t expecting a refund or even a response but I truly appreciate their customer service, not very many companies out there that match that level of service and for that I’ll give them another tryThanks for trying to make it right
