Nice product but can’t be used with regular size cigars
This product looks nice and seems to be made of good quality wood and durable, but it is really designed for cigarettes or thin cigars than full size cigars. I have three issues with the design of this ashtray with regards to it being intended as a cigar ashtray.1) The notches for holding a cigar are only a half inch wide that barely fits my pinky. Regular gauge 40 and up do not fit in the slot at all and can easily roll out.2) The way the cigar sits in the grove to the side of a the hole I can imagine it burning the wood over time.3) The size of the round opening in the middle of the ashtray is only 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The picture shows it holding a long cigar but it is misleading. You cannot balance a regular cigar with the lit end sitting over the hole that is any longer than about 4 inches.
